Ansoo
Lake is a high-altitude lake A beautifully lake
in the northern areas of Pakistan at about 14200 feet height ( or 5,027 metres) in the Kaghan Valley, District Mansehra of
the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa a province of Pakistan. It can be reached by a difficult
trek from Saiful Mulook Lake and requires physical and mental fitness. This lake is located in the Himalayan rang
near Malika Parbat and lake Saif Ul Malook. This lake is uniqe due to its uniqe
shape like a drop of tear which is highlited in it’s name ansoo( Urdu word of
teardrop). This lake is considered to be one of
the most beautiful lakes of the world. The lake also resembles a human eye, it
becomes even more prominent when ice melts during the summer. The lake is said
to have been discovered in 1993 by Pakistan Air Force pilots who were flying
low in the area. Earlier, the lake was not even known to the local individuals.
There is no place to stay at Ansoo Lake. Some people may camp on the top of
extremely cold and windy mountains but it is very risky and even the locals do
not recommend this.

As I mentioned above that it
can be reached by a difficult trek from Saiful Mulook Lake and requires
physical and mental fitness. You can hike upto the
Ansoo lake but from Saif-ul-malook to Ansoo lake you can't use Jeeps.
